I Want a Blossom Flower Shops Wedding! How Does It Work?

Your wedding journey with Blossom Flower Shops begins by submitting an inquiry HERE. Once we confirm our availability, we’ll schedule a personal consultation at either our Yonkers or White Plains location.

During this meeting, we’ll explore your inspiration photos, discuss the tone and atmosphere you envision, and review your wish list of floral designs. We’ll also share our most popular wedding pieces and their typical price ranges to help guide your decisions. This is our opportunity to truly get to know you, your partner, and the unique spirit of your wedding day.

From there, our team will prepare a custom proposal crafted just for you. Along with your draft, we’ll design a curated photo board to beautifully capture the look and feel of your celebration. At Blossom Flower Shops, we believe every wedding is extraordinary, and we take great care in tailoring each proposal to reflect your one-of-a-kind vision.

To secure your date, a $250 deposit is required—fully applied toward your wedding floral order. Once reserved, we’ll continue collaborating with you through phone calls and electronic messages, making adjustments as your plans evolve.

From the moment you book until your wedding day, we’ll be by your side to ensure every detail feels seamless and special. About two months before your wedding, we’ll schedule a final check-in to confirm that everything is in place for a flawless and unforgettable floral design.

Do You Have a Minimum?

At Blossom Flower Shops, we do not require a minimum order for wedding flowers. Every couple’s celebration is unique, and we’re delighted to design for weddings of all sizes.

For weddings that require delivery and on-site set-up, a minimum order amount may apply depending on your location.

Most of our weddings fall in to one of the following types:

Pick Up / Drop Off / Bridal Party Only Packages: $300 - $3,500

Delivery / Simple Set Up Packages: $4,000 - $7,000

Full Service Event Styling / Installation / Removal:  $7500 - $15000+

Do You Offer Set-Up and Removal?

Yes! At Blossom Flower Shops, we provide complete set-up and removal services so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

For couples who prefer a more budget-friendly option and have a few extra helping hands, we’re also happy to carefully prepare your arrangements for convenient pick-up or drop-off—allowing you to handle the set-up yourselves while still enjoying the same beautiful designs.

How Do Consultations Work?

At Blossom Flower Shops, consultations are completely optional. We know every couple has their own style of planning, and we’re here to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Your consultation can be done over the phone or email, and you’re always welcome to send us your inspiration photos so we can understand your vision. We can also meet in person at our Yonkers or White Plains shops during business hours. If you’d prefer a more in-depth meeting with a senior floral designer, we can arrange that later in your planning process.

While we love meeting couples face-to-face, we also understand the comfort of planning from home or afar! That’s why we’re flexible and happy to work with you however you prefer—remotely or in person—making the experience tailored to your needs.

Where Do Your Flowers Come From?

At Blossom Flower Shops, our flowers come from both near and far. We proudly support local growers whenever possible and source through direct-from-the-farm programs to ensure the freshest blooms. Many of our flowers are grown right here in the USA, while others are carefully selected from trusted partners around the world to bring in rare and exotic varieties.

This combination allows us to offer our couples the very best—beautiful, seasonal, and distinctive flowers that make each wedding truly unforgettable.

Do You Offer Rental Items or Accessories Such as Arches, Chuppahs, or Candles?

Yes! While we believe fresh flowers and lush foliage create the greatest impact, Blossom Flower Shops also offers a curated selection of candles and elegant floral vessels to complement your arrangements and enhance the overall design of your event.

How do I know which flowers will be in season for my wedding?

Many flowers are available year-round, including popular wedding favorites like roses, orchids, and hydrangeas. However, some blooms are only in season for a limited time—sometimes just a few months or even weeks—such as peonies, anemones, sweet peas, lily of the valley, and dahlias.

Our goal is for you to absolutely LOVE your wedding flowers. If a specific flower you have in mind isn’t available, we’ll carefully select equally stunning alternatives to create arrangements that are just as beautiful. We also stay closely connected with our growers to source flowers at their peak bloom, ensuring your wedding blooms look their absolute best on your special day.

 

What design styles are your specialty?

Blossom Flower Shops brings every couple’s floral vision to life, no matter the style. Whether you’re dreaming of classic elegance, romantic wildflowers, or modern, bold arrangements, we tailor each design to reflect your personality and wedding aesthetic.

Can I DIY my wedding flowers?

Yes! If you’d like to create your own arrangements, start by making a list of the flowers and greenery you’ll need, then send it to us—we can help source and price everything for you. You can also explore our selection of bulk flowers HERE.

Everyone can—and should!—enjoy crafting their own floral designs. That said, we don’t recommend taking on your first major DIY project on your wedding day. Make sure you have plenty of time, space, proper storage, extra hands to help, and some practice runs so your flowers look beautiful without the stress.
