We plan ahead for Memorial Day. It’s a three-day weekend. There are parades and commemorative celebrations. We may take the opportunity to host a special event—a backyard barbecue or a more poignant dinner at home with close friends and family. It’s one of those times that we think of as marking the beginning of summer, an occasion that we here at Blossom Flower Shops think is worth celebrating. So while we certainly remember and honor those who died in service to country, we also embrace the people we love, celebrating the long weekend together and looking ahead to a happy, sunny summer.
