At Blossom Flower Shops, we love everything about this season – especially creating custom wreaths for our friends and clients in Yonkers, White Plains and throughout Westchester. What can we create for you this Christmas?

Wreaths are largely associated with the Christian traditions of Christmas, as the circular shape and evergreen branches both represent eternal life. But long before these traditions, evergreen wreaths were used by ancient cultures to celebrate the Winter Solstice. To these people, the evergreen would absorb sunlight during the short and harsh winter days and help to bring about the spring thaw.

These days, wreaths are most often used as welcoming decor on front doors, and to add warmth and ambiance to our homes.  Blossom Flower Shops creates beautiful evergreen wreaths embellished with berries, pine cones, wheat, eucalyptus, and festive ribbons and bows. 

In addition to our beautiful pre-designed wreaths, we are happy to create custom wreaths for our customers. In fact, owner Kevin recently designed and created two 6 foot wreaths for the City Island Bridge; and we are happy to help commercial and business customers with their holiday decorating needs.
